BabyNote Terms of Service

Welcome to BabyNote (the “App”, developed by HackerApp). Please read these terms carefully. They apply to your download and use of the App. If you purchase membership through the Apple App Store, Apple’s Standard EULA also applies to purchases, refunds, and licensing.
1. Acceptance
By downloading or using BabyNote, you agree to these terms.
2. Acceptable use
- Do not distribute illegal, infringing, or malicious content
- Do not interfere with the App or attempt to compromise system security
- Do not infringe others’ rights, including likeness and privacy
- You are responsible for baby photos, text, and other content you enter or import, and must have necessary authorization
3. Data and backup
BabyNote is a local-first memoir tool. Memories, photos, and baby profiles are stored on your device by default; the App does not provide automatic cloud sync. Please back up important content yourself. To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for data loss due to device damage, loss, uninstall, accidental deletion, or system failure beyond mandatory legal requirements.
4. Accounts and subscriptions
Basic features do not require an account. Some features (such as additional baby profiles) may require a lifetime membership purchased via the Apple App Store. Purchase, payment, refunds, and restore follow App Store rules and Apple’s terms.
5. Intellectual property
The App’s trademarks, code, UI, and design are protected by law. Unauthorized copying, modification, or commercial use is prohibited. You retain rights to memoir content you create (text, photos you take or lawfully hold, etc.).
6. Changes and termination
We may change, suspend, or terminate some or all features, and will try to notify you via the website or in-app when reasonable. We will try to reduce inconvenience from changes, but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
7. Disclaimer
BabyNote is a family memoir and recording aid. It is not medical, parenting, or other professional advice. On-device vision filtering, dictation, and optional story drafting are for reference only; verify accuracy yourself.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China. Disputes arising from these terms or use of the App shall be submitted to a court with jurisdiction where the developer is located.
